Dont comes packaged with additional features for supervisors and commercial drivers, as well as modifications to certain baseline features. Additionally, you can integrate your organization’s scheduling API to unlock Dont’s full potential.

Optimize Your Dashboard

If you have a large number of drivers, the admin dashboard adapts for better organization and management. Drivers will be sorted into collapsible categories based on report type (IE rule violations, warnings, connection issues, et cetera).

Integrate Your Scheduling Services

You can integrate your organization’s scheduling platform to bulk upload drivers and automatically set their shift schedules. That way the Dont | Driver App will refrain from monitoring them when they are off the clock.

Allow Clocking In and Out

A non-commercial driver can enter Passenger Mode, which indicates that they are in a moving vehicle but are not the one driving. This requires admin permission and disables reporting.

If you set the driver as a commercial driver, Passenger Mode is replaced by the Clock Out function. The details of clocking in and out are as follows.

Clocking Out Disables Monitoring

A commercial driver can stop the app from monitoring their phone during any deviation from their shift, whether they are riding with another employee, attending a scheduled doctor’s visit, or simply clocking out early.

To keep monitoring their phone use during these times would constitute a violation of privacy.

No Need to Approve

Commercial drivers do not require permission to clock out during their shift. For an admin supervising a large number of drivers, manually approving or denying every Clock Out would be a tremendous burden.

Not to mention that employees require autonomy when it comes to the use of their phone.

Real-Time Notifications

Don’t worry: if a driver clocks out during their shift, an alert will be sent to your phone. That way you will know if they have disabled monitoring without being permitted to do so.
